I am writing in reference to repair work done at my residence on Beech Mountain on 12/12/2011.
During the installation of our new oven, we encountered a problem due to faulty installation, not performed by the Rock Doc, which resulted in a crack in our solid surface counter top. My wife and I are often hesitant to have repairs done since many repair people leave things in a bigger mess than the problem in the first place. So we just live with the problem.
In this case we got a good recommendation from our local Lowes appliance guy so decided to take a chance.
We called Chris Brown and he set up an appointment to come up to take a look. He quickly gave us a price for the work and we agreed on a convenient time to effect the repair. The work has been completed and we are more than satisfied with Chris and the work he did.
Chris was on time for both appointments and came ready to work. Due to the fact that our long, steep driveway was covered with snow, he had to walk up and down in order to bring his equipment to the house. He did not complain but was very nice about it. He was, in fact, very pleasant and professional to deal with in all of our dealings. Most importantly, he was neat and clean making sure to avoid the mess we feared and the work he did was first class. He repaired the crack and also corrected the problem with the original installation job.
We are very satisfied with Chris and the work he did for us and would be pleased to recommend him to anyone who needs counter top work. We are in the real estate and property management business here on Beech Mountain and so receive a lot of requests for recommendations for repair work. We have a list of only the best people who do good work at reasonable prices. We are adding Chris and the Rock Doc to that list.
